Free acknowledgement of receipt generator

Name what was received, pick what the signer is actually confirming, and download the PDF. Free, no account, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.

The choice that matters is receipt versus review versus acceptance. They are three different statements and get used as though they were one. The reasoning is in what to put in an acknowledgement of receipt.

Nothing you type leaves this page.

Who and when

Items received

Name them individually. An acknowledgement that says "the documents" defines nothing a year later.

Disclosures included

Listed separately so the signer confirms they were told the specific things you told them. This is the part that gets disputed.

What is being confirmed

Ask for the weakest one that does the job. Asking someone to accept when you only need them to confirm receipt turns a form into a negotiation.

The sentence your document will carry

I confirm that I have received the items and disclosures listed above.

Where a paper acknowledgement gets thin

A signed form is a real record and has been for a long time. It weakens in three situations: the other side stops cooperating and disputes signing at all; the contents matter as much as the delivery, and a filename still matches after the file behind it is swapped; and time passes, because ink does not establish when it was applied and neither does the date written beside it.

Binding each item to a hash, verifying the signer, and timestamping with something neither side controls closes all three. Pactbound does that, and the free tier covers five sign-offs a month.
